Sourcing Co-ordinator

Muntons is a leading global supplier to the food and drinks industry and has been producing high-quality malt and malted ingredients for some of the world's most recognised and well-loved brands for over 100 years.
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Sourcing Coordinator to join our Procurement team in our Bridlington factory. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the efficient sourcing and supply of raw materials while helping to strengthen resilience within the purchasing function.
The role has been created to support the procurement structure, improve data management, and control processes. You will act as a central coordination point, ensuring the smooth operation of vendor management, purchasing administration, and raw material scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate vendor and supplier administration processes
Support the creation and maintenance of vendor records within company systems
Raise and process purchase requests and related documentation
Manage general procurement and supplier queries.
Coordinate raw material purchasing activities and deliveries
Administer and maintain co-product records and associated processes
Provide administrative support to the wider global procurement team
Support effective scheduling and delivery of raw materials to meet operational requirements
Maintain accurate procurement data and records
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and issue resolution
Contribute to process improvements and support the continued development of procurement best practices
The Skills You Need
Essential
Proven administrative experience, ideally within a procurement, supply chain or commercial environment
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills with experience of dealing confidently and professionally with suppliers and customers
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
Knowledge of the agricultural, food manufacturing, malting, or related industries
Previous experience within a procurement or supply chain function
